Water lilies are one of my favourite themes to paint.
 
Sometimes, I like to imagine Claude Monet in his garden with water lilies.
 
My garden also has a pond with lilies, although it's quite small. Picturesque ideas like these make me think that this painting would be ideal in a countryside cottage with a beautiful view of the garden, which would continue the perspective of the painting.
