"Sapphire Vase" - a little still life with a touch of drama. I was captivated by the rich red background and how it makes the white roses pop.  The sapphire blue vase adds a grounding element, while the textured paint brings the entire scene to life.  It's a small piece, but it holds a lot of emotion.
